Per questo, insieme alla Nigeria, e in partenariato con la Global Partnership for Education, abbiamo lanciato una campagna per raccogliere 5 miliardi di dollari e migliorare l’istruzione di 750 milioni di bambini in diverse Nazioni. Ma per costruire un’Africa capace davvero di competere ad armi pari, ovviamente non possiamo ignorare il peso del debito che grava su molte delle Nazioni di questo Continente. L’Italia ha dunque deciso di ridurre, nei prossimi dieci anni, il debito dei Paesi a reddito medio basso del 50% e soprattutto di riconvertire l’intero debito dei Paesi meno sviluppati in piani di investimento per quei Paesi. Una scelta che considero una scelta di giustizia e di responsabilità, che speriamo altri seguiranno", così la premier Giorgia Meloni al G20 in Sudafrica.Chigi
