Oggi la nave si trova a in acque Sar maltesi, che impongono il soccorso diretto da parte dello Stato di riferimento. L’Italia ha messo a disposizione delle autorità maltesi i propri tecnici, imbarcazioni di vario tipo, anche quelle per il contenimento del danno ambientale. E se le autorità maltesi od europee ce lo chiedessero, siamo pronti a intervenire nel giro di pochissimo”.
