Di tengah memanasnya situasi dua negara itu, kini beredar foto warga negara asing (WNA) mengibarkan bendera Israel di puncak Gunung Rinjani, Lombok, NTB, yang memicu reaksi keras dari sejumlah pihak.
Terkait beredarnya foto tersebut, Kepala Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani (BTNGR), Yarman, buka suara.
Yarman menjelaskan bahwa foto tersebut bukan merupakan kejadian baru.
Ia menduga foto tersebut merupakan postingan dari tahun 2016.
"Kalau kita lihat postingan tahun 2016, tetapi kita tidak tahu apakah betul tahun itu atau mundur jauh sebelum itu saya nggak tahu. Tapi kalau saya lihat postingan, saya kemarin baca, lihat juga di postingan itu tahun 2016," ujar Yarman saat dikonfirmasi melalui sambungan telepon pada Sabtu (14/6/2025).
Yarman menegaskan bahwa hingga saat ini tidak ada laporan yang masuk terkait aktivitas pengibaran bendera Israel di puncak Gunung Rinjani.
Oleh karenanya, dirinya memastikan tak ada pengibaran bendera Israel di Gunung Rinjani saat ini.
Ia berharap, masyarakat tak terpengaruh oleh informasi yang tidak akurat mengenai kejadian tersebut.
Diketahui, Israel saat ini tengah menjadi perhatian dunia lantaran terus melakukan penyerangan terhadap Gaza, Palestina.
Ribuan warga Gaza terbunuh akibat tembakan rudal militer rezim Zionis.
Indonesia pun menjadi salah satu negara yang menentang keras tindakan Israel.
