Hal itu hingga membuatnya tidak mau singgah di Eropa selama perjalannya ke Amerika Serikat (AS) yang rencananya dilakukan pada Rabu (24/7/2024).
Kantor Netanyahu mempertimbangkan untuk mengadakan pertemuan politik di Republik Ceko atau Hongaria.
Yakni negara yang danggap bersahabat dengan Israel.
Namun, pada akhirnya, Netanyahu memilih untuk tidak berhenti sama sekali dan melakukan penerbangan langsung ke AS.
Sebelumnya diketahui, Menteri Luar Negeri Israel, Yisrael Katz, mengirim surat kepada 25 menteri luar negeri dari seluruh dunia untuk bergabung dengan Inggris.
Pihaknya juga mengajukan pendapat hukum ke Pengadilan Kriminal Internasional di Den Haag terhadap permintaan tersebut.
Jaksa Agung ICC, Karim Khan, mengajukan surat perintah penangkapan untuk Netanyahu dan Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Yoav Gallant.
Pejabat senior Kementerian Luar Negeri Israel mengatakan jika negara-negara ini atau bahkan beberapa di antaranya, mengirimkan pendapat hukum tersebut ke pengadilan di Den Haag.
Para hakim mungkin yakin tidak ada alasan untuk menyetujui permintaan Jaksa ICC Karim Khan.
