En este fragmento del show Hola! Ota-Ola, el activista Alex Otaola desmantela con humor y dureza el discurso oficialista sobre los supuestos planes de modernización del transporte en Cuba. Entre promesas de pipas milagrosas, camiones rusos "recapitalizados" y una eficiencia energética digna de ciencia ficción, los dirigentes cubanos pintan un futuro utópico… sin combustible.Otaola expone el absurdo de invertir millones en reparar chasis oxidados mientras no hay gasolina ni para mover un triciclo. “Van a reconstruir camiones pieza por pieza… pero no tienen lo principal: el combustible”, ironiza. Mientras tanto, las prioridades siguen desviadas hacia conciertos, cargos políticos y tarta de guerra.
La crítica no se queda en el chiste: Otaola evidencia el deterioro estructural, el empobrecimiento de la población y el eterno ciclo de pretextos con que el régimen intenta justificar su fracaso. “Cada vez son más horas de apagón, más justificaciones, más mentiras... pero tú sigue esperando, mi amor”, remata.
