Manchester: Verletzte und Tote nach Angriff vor Synagoge
Am höchsten jüdischen Feiertag Jom Kippur sind vor einer Synagoge in Manchester mehrere Menschen angegriffen worden. Am Vormittag hatte ein Mann sein Auto in eine Menschenmenge gelenkt, so berichtet es die Polizei. Danach habe der Angreifer mit einem Messer auf einen Wachmann eingestochen. Laut Polizei wurden zwei Menschen getötet und drei schwer verletzt. Die Polizei schoss auf den Mann und setzt ihn außer Gefecht. Über die Hintergründe ist bislang nichts bekannt.
