Wakil Presiden Ke 10 Dan 12 Republik Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla enggan berkomentar banyak perihal rancangan Undang-undang Dewan Pertimbangan Presiden atau Wantimpres yang saat ini tengah menjadi bahasan di DPR.

Ditemui usai mengikuti rapat pleno dengan Majelis Ulama Indonesia, Rabu siang, Jusuf Kalla menyebut pembahasan RUU ini tidak ada hubungan dengan upaya mengembalikan peran Dewan Pertimbangan Agung seperti masa Orde Baru. Sehingga harus dipahami betul apa-apa saja yang diatur lewat konstitusi.
