(LaPresse) Un bunker protetto da sistemi di occultamento e progettato nei minimi dettagli per garantire la fuga di un ipotetico latitante. È l’incredibile scoperta effettuata ad Ardore dai Carabinieri del Nucleo Operativo della Compagnia di Locri e della locale Stazione, con il decisivo supporto tecnico dello Squadrone Eliportato Cacciatori “Calabria” e con l’ausilio logistico dei Vigili del Fuoco di Bianco (RC). Dietro pareti apparentemente anonime e sotto il pavimento dell’immobile controllato, i Carabinieri hanno individuato un articolato bunker che si sviluppa attraverso tre distinti ambienti sotterranei: una camera da letto, un servizio igienico e una vera e propria “camera di fuga”, cuore pulsante dell’intero sistema. Una pesantissima botola in cemento armato, invisibile dall’esterno, veniva aperta tramite un sofisticato meccanismo elettrico occultato, capace di azionare il passaggio segreto verso l’esterno. Oltre la botola si snoda uno stretto tunnel sotterraneo lungo circa 120 metri, scavato nelle profondità del terreno e progettato per consentire una rapida via di fuga verso una vicina area rurale, lontana da occhi indiscreti.
