Selain itu, Bripka Rohmad juga menjalani penempatan khusus (patsus) selama 20 hari.
Sanksi tersebut dijatuhkan dalam sidang Komisi Kode Etik Polri (KKEP) pada Kamis (4/9).
Ketua Majelis Sidang KKEP Kombes Pol Heri Setiawan dalam pembacaan putusannya mengungkapkan sejumlah sanksi untuk Bripka Rohmad.
Seperti sanksi etik berupa permintaan maaf secara lisan di hadapan sidang KKEP dan secara tertulis kepada pimpinan Polri.
Sementara sanksi adminstratif berupa patsus sejak 29 Agustus hingga 17 September 2025 di Ruang Patsus, Biro Provos Div Propam Polri serta demosi selama tujuh tahun sesuai dengan sisa masa dinas pelanggar di Polri.
Menanggapi sanksi tersebut, Bripka Rohmad tak kuasa menahan tangis saat menyampaikan curahan hatinya.
Bripka Rohmad mengaku dirinya sudah 28 tahun mengabdi sebagai polisi dan tak pernah terjerat kasus pidana, sidang disiplin ataupun kode etik.
Tak hanya itu, Bripka Rohmad mengungkapkan bahwa dirinya memiliki satu istri dan dua anak yang masih membutuhkan dirinya.
Ia juga menegaskan tak pernah berniat mencelakai orang lain saat bertugas.
Rohmad juga menyampaikan maafnya pada keluarga almarhum Affan Kurniawan.
Lebih lanjut, Rohmad menyebut apa yang terjadi bukan atas kehendak pribadi, melainkan menjalankan perintah atasan.
