SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed | Open Playtest - Trial Cup Tournament

One of the most notable additions in SR2 is Tournament Mode—a showdown for up to 64 players, where speedrunners compete for the crown. In addition, you can now play with up to 7 other players in a brand new 8-Players mode.
In this invitational tournament, players will be grouped into groups of 4 players based on the Velocity Database ELO and ranking. We've invited speedrunners with two or more SR tournament victories.
Round 1: Top 2 from each group will advance in a First to FIVE map format. Maps will be randomly selected. If there is no clear winner, play will continue until there is a clear secondary winner from this group.
Round 2: Six players will play in two groups of 3 players in a first-to-five map format. Maps will be randomly selected. The first two players to reach five maps apiece will advance to the final round. If there is no clear winner, play will continue until there is a clear secondary winner from this group.
FINAL ROUND: 4 players will fight in a First to FIVE map format. Maps will be randomly selected. The first player to reach 5 map victories will win the tournament. The other players will continue to fight for second, third, and fourth, respectively.
