Adapun menurut polisi, penganiayaan itu terjadi karena adanya miskomunikasi antara pelaku berinisial T dengan korban, yaitu pacar driver ojol bernama Ayuningtyas Mega Lukito.
Di sisi lain, netizen pun turut menyoroti bentakan dari T yang mengaku sebagai orang yang bekerja di pelayaran.
Ternyata, pengakuan dari T berbanding terbalik dengan kesaksian Ketua RT setempat, Nursalim.
Dia mengatakan pelaku bukan orang pelayaran, tetapi bekerja sebagai pegawai di Bea Cukai di Pulau Kalimantan.
Pada saat peristiwa terjadi, Nursalim mengungkapkan T baru saja tiba di kediamannya setelah mengambil cuti pulang kampung.
