Тропарь Крещения Господня (Богоявления) повествует о явлении Троицы в Иорданской воде, когда глас Отца свидетельствовал о Сыне, а Дух Святой сошел в виде голубя, просвещая мир. Кондак же прославляет Христа как неприступный Свет, явившийся миру и запечатлевший на верующих Свой Божественный свет.

Текст: Во Иордане крещающуся Тебе, Господи, / троическое явися поклонение, / Родителей бо глас свидетельствоваше Тебе, / возлюбленного Тя Сына именуя, / и Дух в виде голубине, / извествоваше словесе утверждение. / Явлейся Христе Боже, / и мир просвещей, слава Тебе.

Суть: Во время крещения Иисуса в Иордане явилось Троическое поклонение: Отец свидетельствовал гласом, называя Его возлюбленным Сыном, а Дух Святой сошел в виде голубя, подтверждая это.
