Israel Launches Airstrikes on Houthi Targets in Yemen’s Sanaa, 35 Killed And Over 130 Injured | N18GIsraeli airstrikes targeting Yemen-based Houthis killed 35 people and injured 131 on Wednesday. The strikes targeted the Houthi armed forces' media operations headquarters in the capital, Sanaa. The strikes also hit a Houthi complex in the northern province of al-Jawf. The Houthi Health Ministry reported that at least 28 people were killed and 113 were injured in Sanaa, while another 7 died and 18 were wounded in al-Jawf. The Israeli attack caused major damage in the capital, with plumes of smoke rising into the sky. The Israeli military stated that the strikes were in response to attacks by the Houthis. It added that the Houthis' "propaganda department" was attacked, along with military camps and fuel storage sites. This follows August's airstrikes in Yemen, when Houthi PM Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahawi was killed, along with 11 other senior Houthi officials.
