Aksi pembacokan ini terjadi saat korban bernama Serka Seger Mulyana yang juga Babinsa 175-06/Dekai melintas di Jalan Seradala, Distrik Dekai, Kabupaten Yahukimo, Papua Pegunungan.
Akibat peristiwa ini, Serka Seger mengalami sejumlah luka di leher hingga tangan.
