Durante l'audizione, l'onorevole Alice Buonguerrieri ha posto delle domande al procuratore generale della Corte dei conti, Pio Silvestri. "Se dai lavori di commissione d'inchiesta emerge, come è già emerso, il fatto che il governo di allora fosse consapevole che stesse arrivando nel sistema italiano merce pagata il triplo, è una domanda, le chiedo: sarebbe un elemento di riesumazione di quei procedimenti eventualmente prearchiviati?". Dev'essere stata questa la domanda-scintilla non digerita da qualche membro dell'opposizione. "Non è diffamatoria", dice Buonguerrieri infatti a qualcuno in aula, "almeno che non si voglia riferire a Colucci o al sottosegretario Fraccaro". La questione riemerge poco dopo con l'onorevole Annamaria Furlan.
"Apprendo - dice Furlan riferendosi alla domanda di Buonguerrieri - che la commissione è arrivata a valutazione, conclusioni espresse ora che non mi risultano. Quindi vorrei capire qual è la sede dove abbiamo fatto queste valutazioni. Io credo che anche per rispetto tra di noi, oltre che per quello che rappresentiamo soprattutto con gli auditi, bisognerebbe proprio evitare e fare in modo che non succeda, Presidente (Marco Lisei, ndr), che un singolo membro dia valutazioni scontate già assunte da analisi della Commissione che non ci sono state". Ed è a questo punto che l'on. Buonguerrieri ferma l'on. Furlan chiedendo l'intervento del presidente di Commissione.
