AIRBUS A340-600 LANDING with an AIRBUS A320 flying AHEAD (4K)
This Airbus A340-600 of Iberia was approachung runway 23R at Düsseldorf Airport while an Airbus A320 of Lufthansa was flying ahead. While on approach both aircrafts had to deal with light crosswinds coming from the right. The Airbus A320 arrived from Munich and vacated the runway on time prior to the Landing of the Airbus A340.Iberia usually doesn` t send the A340-600 or other heavy planes to Düsseldorf but in 2019 there was a phase when Ibera was doing crew training flight on heavy aircrafts between Düsseldorf and Madrid and that` s why the A346 visited Düsseldorf quite often. If I remember correctly this was one of the last aircrafts in old colours and I was quite happy that they sent this one.
