KOMPAS.TV - Aksi unjuk rasa di depan Kantor Bupati Pati, Sudewo, pada Rabu (13/08/2025) berujung ricuh. Warga Pati marah dan menuntut Bupati Sudewo mundur, setelah pernyataan kontroversialnya usai menaikkan pajak hingga 250 persen.Puluhan warga dan polisi yang terlibat bentrok dalam aksi ini terluka. Mereka langsung dilarikan ke rumah sakit karena sesak napas.
Walau didemo ribuan warga, Bupati Pati, Sudewo, memastikan menolak mundur dari jabatannya.
Sudewo mengatakan, ada mekanisme yang harus dilalui dan pihaknya menghargai proses panitia khusus pemakzulan di DPRD.
