Un gruppo di adolescenti, parte di una folla di 7.000 giovani cattolici, è stato sanzionato con una multa di 60 euro da parte della sicurezza ferroviaria. Il motivo? Inquinamento acustico. Una spiegazione che però non convince, soprattutto alla luce della tolleranza dimostrata in altre manifestazioni pubbliche.
Come sottolineato dal corrispondente di Mediaset Leonardo Panetta, in diretta su "LAVORI IN CORSO", la questione si inserisce in un contesto più ampio: quello della laicità "alla francese", sancita dalla Costituzione, ma sempre più percepita come asimmetrica. “In Francia si è appena celebrata la festa del sacrificio islamica con manifestazioni pubbliche e canti in strada, e nessuno ha sollevato problemi”, osserva Panetta. Questo alimenta la percezione di un "double standard" in cui alcune religioni vengono tollerate e altre, come il cattolicesimo, scoraggiate. Un paradosso in un paese che si professa laico e imparziale verso ogni fede.
