Zwei Autos brennen in Tiefgarage in Ober-Abtsteinach
Am Donnerstagabend wurden Feuerwehr und Polizei zu einem Brand in die Löhrbacher Straße alarmiert. Gegen 18:20 Uhr gingen mehrere Notrufe ein, nachdem in einer Tiefgarage zwei Fahrzeuge in Brand geraten waren.Beim Eintreffen der Einsatzkräfte standen die beiden Autos bereits in Vollbrand. Durch die enorme Hitzeentwicklung und den dichten Rauch wurden auch Teile der Tiefgarage erheblich beschädigt. Unter anderem wurden Rohre, Lampen sowie die Motoreinheit des Garagentors in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Weitere abgestellte Fahrzeuge wurden zudem mit Ruß bedeckt. Ob an diesen Fahrzeugen ebenfalls Schäden entstanden sind, wird derzeit noch geprüft.
Nach ersten Ermittlungen gehen die Beamten aktuell davon aus, dass ein technischer Defekt an einem Elektrofahrzeug den Brand ausgelöst haben könnte. Die Flammen griffen anschließend auf ein daneben abgestelltes Fahrzeug über.
Wie hoch der entstandene Sachschaden ist, kann derzeit noch nicht beziffert werden. Die weiteren Ermittlungen zur genauen Brandursache hat die Kriminalpolizei in Heppenheim übernommen. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
