I numeri del partito del generale Roberto Vannacci sono quelli di un movimento che in quattro mesi ha già cambiato gli equilibri del centrodestra: 94.000 iscritti, più della Lega ferma a 60.000, e consensi che nei sondaggi si attestano stabilmente tra il 4,6 e il 4,8%, a un soffio dal Carroccio. Tra gli ultimi arrivi, l'ex eurodeputato Antonio Maria Rinaldi, ufficializzato nella squadra di Vannacci la settimana scorsa a Viareggio.
Sono già tante le domande che si fa l'elettorato su quello che sarà il programma di Futuro Nazionale. Dagli spalti dei "delusi" dal governo, particolare curiosità c'è sui punti considerati non sufficientemente portati avanti dagli altri partiti del centrodestra. Uno di questi è il tema dell'obbligo vaccinale. Il generale non ha mai fatto mistero della propria posizione: lo ha definito un provvedimento sbagliato, ha detto di averlo "tollerato estremamente male" e ha chiesto che chi lo ha imposto "ne risponda". Una posizione che ha attirato verso il partito una quota consistente dell'elettorato più critico sulla gestione della pandemia, che però non trova ancora conferme su quella che sarà in merito la linea del nuovo partito. Rinaldi, intervistato da Fabio Duranti in diretta, ha anticipato i due assi programmatici che porterà in assemblea: la supremazia della Costituzione italiana sui trattati europei e la revisione sostanziale di Maastricht.
