FIFA-Chef Infantino lockt mit Milliarden – DFB kontert mit scharfer Kritik
Die Investorenpläne von Gianni Infantino und der FIFA halten den Fußball in Atem. Am Dienstag teilte die FIFA mit, dass sie eine Gesellschaft gründen wolle, die alle kommerziellen Aktivitäten und Turnierorganisationen des Weltverbandes bündeln soll. An dieser Gesellschaft sollen dann Anteile verkauft werden, um noch viele Milliarden Euro mehr als jetzt schon umzusetzen.Was den Anteilsverkauf betrifft, ist das offen. Den 211 Mitgliedsverbänden der FIFA rechnete Infantino allerdings schon ziemlich genau vor, was sie mehr bekommen könnten.
Die UEFA hatte schon Kritik geäußert, als der Plan von der FIFA noch gar nicht offiziell bestätigt worden war. Der europäische Verband polterte: „Keiner von uns besitzt den Fußball. Es ist nicht an der FIFA, ihn zu verkaufen.“ Die UEFA bemängelte zudem den intransparenten Prozess.
