Menurut keterangan Kapolres Padang Pariaman, Ahmad Faisol Amir, proses rekonstruksi dimulai pada pukul 08.00 WIB.
Reka adegan akan langsung diperagakan oleh tersangka di tiga tempat perkara (TKP) berbeda.
Mulai dari rumah tersangka, jembatan kuliek, dan pabrik tempat tersangka bekerja.
Terpantau pada pukul 08.10 WIB, sejumlah personil dari berbagai instansi sudah tampak hadir di lokasi.
Diantaranya ada aparat kepolisian, Dinas Perhubungan, Satpol PP, TNI, dan dikawal sejumlah personil Brimob Polda Sumbar dengan peralatan lengkap.
Kurang lebih ada sekitar 500 personel gabungan dari Polres Padang Pariaman dan Polda Sumbar yang dikerahkan dalam rekonstruksi tersebut.
Ratusan anggota tersebut diterjunkan dengan alasan mengantisipasi terjadinya hal yang tidak diinginkan.
