Aksi ini digelar untuk memperingati Hari Tani Nasional sekaligus menuntut penyelesaian konflik agraria di Sumut pada Rabu (24/9/2025).
Aksi sempat ricuh ketika massa mencoba merangsek masuk dan terlibat saling dorong dengan aparat kepolisian.
Sejak pukul 11.00 WIB, massa datang membawa spanduk tuntutan serta hasil bumi berupa buah dan sayur yang digantung di mobil pikap.
Hasil pertanian itu rencananya diberikan kepada Gubernur Bobby sebagai simbol agar pemerintah berpihak kepada petani.
Sementara itu, para pengunjuk rasa menilai janji penyelesaian konflik agraria yang disampaikan saat kampanye gubernur belum terealisasi.
Mereka mendesak Gubernur Bobby atau wakilnya, Surya, untuk menemui massa secara langsung.
Namun, Bobby sedang bertugas di luar kota, sementara Surya mengikuti rapat di DPRD Sumut.
Kehadiran Sekretaris Daerah Sumut Togap Simangunsong sempat ditolak karena massa menuntut pejabat tertinggi.
Ketegangan kian memanas ketika massa mencoba menerobos barikade aparat di depan kantor gubernur.
Bahkan aksi saling dorong dengan aparat keamanan berlangsung sekira 15 menit sebelum situasi kembali terkendali.
Setelah itu, massa melanjutkan orasi dari atas mobil komando dengan tuntutan agar pemerintah segera turun tangan menyelesaikan konflik agraria.
Meski demikian, massa menilai pemerintah provinsi abai terhadap janji kampanye untuk menyelesaikan sengketa lahan.
