Фильм «Мирослав Чулинович – лаутар из долины Тимока» посвящен выдающемуся эпическому исполнителю из долины реки Тимок.Мирослав Чулинович родился в селе Шарбановац Борского округа Восточной Сербии в 1938 г. Это село в долине Тимока, в котором живут румыны или влахи-унгуряне, носители, согласно классификации Биляны Сикимич, банатского говора румынского языка. Мирослав Чулинович играет на скрипке с малых лет. Всю свою жизнь он играл на свадьбах, похоронах. На похоронах он играл песни-биографии, на свадьбах — в дуэте с братом-флуерашем он играл танцевальные мелодии, которые сопровождают хоры, а также, когда все гости сидят за столами, сольно исполнял эпические произведения — мифологические баллады о Луне и Солнце, о Йоване Йорговане, и исторические — о гайдуке Миу и господаре Штефане и многие другие.
