In der Nacht hat der Bundestag den Haushalt für das kommende Jahr festgezurrt – und siehe da: Er sieht noch mehr Schulden vor als eben noch geplant!

Finanzminister Lars Klingbeil (47, SPD) wird fast zum Rekord-Schuldenminister: Nur in der Corona-Zeit war der Haushalt noch tiefer in den Miesen.

Das plant die Merz-Regierung jetzt für 2026:

▶︎ Gesamtausgaben im Kernhaushalt (ohne Sonderschulden): 524,54 Mrd. Euro – statt wie bisher geplant 520,5 Mrd. Euro.

▶︎ Neuverschuldung (aus Kernhaushalt und Sondervermögen): Fast 180 Mrd. Euro statt wie bisher geplant 174,3 Mrd. Euro.
