Kasus Siswa yang Dikeluarkan dari Sekolah, Kepsek: Saat Daftar Resmi, 72 Siswa Tak Diterima
KOMPAS.TV 12 dari 72 siswa SMAN 5 Bengkulu yang dikeluarkan dari sekolah tetap bertahan ikut pelajaran di sekolah. Namun, mereka mendapatkan perlakuan yang tidak menyenangkan dari pihak sekolah.Meski telah dikeluarkan dari sekolah, 12 dari 72 siswa yang dikeluarkan dari SMA Negeri 5 Bengkulu masih menuntut hak mereka untuk kembali bersekolah.
Namun, perjuangan mereka tidaklah mudah. Mereka harus belajar mandiri, dengan berpindah-pindah tempat, seperti di perpustakaan sekolah, kantin sekolah, hingga rumah kuasa hukum mereka.
Di tengah upaya untuk tetap belajar, para siswa juga mendapat perlakuan tidak menyenangkan dari pihak sekolah, seperti diusir dari ruang kelas hingga perpustakaan. Padahal, tak banyak yang diinginkan oleh 12 siswa ini hanya ingin bersekolah di tempat mereka mendaftar.
Kepala Sekolah SMAN 5 Bengkulu, Bihanudin, mengaku saat itu ia telah meminta operator SPMB untuk melakukan proses daftar ulang kepada 432 siswa yang diterima, sesuai jumlah data pokok pendidikan.
Namun, permintaan itu tak diindahkan operator SPMB, sehingga 72 siswa yang sejak awal tidak diterima di SMAN 5 Bengkulu tetap lolos.
