A CBF realizou nesta segunda-feira (6), no Rio, uma reunião inaugural com representantes dos clubes dos Brasileiros Séries A e B e das Federações Estaduais para o início do debate sobre a criação da Liga do Futebol no Brasil. Em uma iniciativa histórica para a construção coletiva do fortalecimento do produto ‘futebol brasileiro’, a entidade reuniu as principais lideranças do país a fim de promover um espaço qualificado de discussão sobre o tema.No evento, a CBF apresentou estudos conduzidos desde os primeiros meses da atual gestão para mostrar todo o potencial inexplorado do futebol brasileiro, cuja primeira divisão nacional, apesar disso, é a sexta liga mais valiosa do mundo. A análise foi aprofundada a partir da imersão internacional na Europa, em janeiro, em que a comitiva brasileira conheceu conceitos, modelos de governança e estratégias das ligas e federações de Inglaterra, Alemanha e Espanha para temas como fair play financeiro, tecnologia e profissionalização da arbitragem.
