Em sua palestra, Manuela fala da sua paixão pela leitura de livros de romance e fantasia.E faz um paralelo entre livros e filmes baseados em livros. Para ela um não é melhor do que o outro. A leitura projeta mundos dentro de nós e o cinema projeta histórias no mundo. Manuela Alves da Silva, de 16 anos, é estudante da 2ª série do Ensino Médio no Colégio Visconde de Porto Seguro. Desde a sua infância, desenvolveu um grande interesse pela leitura, por livros de romance e, especialmente, obras de fantasia. Nessas leituras, Manuela encontrou uma forma de expandir sua criatividade, imaginando novos universos, criaturas e histórias, enriquecendo sua visão de mundo.
Além da leitura, a pintura faz parte de sua vida, permitindo que sua imaginação flua de maneira livre e artística. Essas atividades são fundamentais em sua trajetória pessoal e intelectual.
Manuela é uma pessoa aberta a novas experiências e valoriza o diálogo e o contato com diferentes perspectivas. Ao longo de sua vida escolar, desenvolveu, com naturalidade, habilidades de comunicação, formando laços com diversas pessoas e se mostrando sempre receptiva ao novo.
