Dia tewas seusai mengalami luka bacok dari salah satu pengunjung kafe di Kecamatan Sapuran, Kabupaten Wonosobo.
Serda Rahman saat itu sedang membantu pegawai kafe untuk melerai keributan.
Tak disangka, korban yang dikenal warga sebagai pribadi yang ramah dan aktif di lingkungan ini justru dibacok pelaku menggunakan golok.
Pasca kejadian, korban yang sempat dilarikan di RS PKU Wonosobo dinyatakan meninggal dan pada siang harinya dimakamkan di TPU Kertek Wonosobo.
Atas kejadian itu, polisi dari Polres Wonosobo pun berjanji akan mengusut tuntas kasus tersebut.
Kapolres Wonosobo, AKBP M. Kasim Akbar Bantilan, mengonfirmasi bahwa pihaknya telah membentuk tim khusus untuk menyelidiki kasus pembacokan yang menewaskan anggota TNI tersebut.
Menurut Kapolres, pihaknya masih melakukan penyelidikan terkait kasus pembacokan tersebut.
