Xi Jinping llega a Busan para una visita de Estado y de la Reunión de Líderes Económicos del APEC
Pasadas las 9:30 de la mañana, hora de Beijing, el presidente chino, Xi Jinping, aterrizó en la República de Corea con motivo de una visita de Estado y de la 32ª Reunión de Líderes Económicos del APEC.Autoridades locales, incluyendo el canciller Cho Hyun, recibieron a Xi a su llegada. El jefe ejecutivo de la Región Administrativa Especial de Hong Kong, John Lee, y el embajador chino en la República de Corea, Dai Bing, también estuvieron presentes. Una guardia de honor rindió tributo al mandatario chino con una salva. Estudiantes y representantes de negocios chinos ondearon las banderas de ambos países para dar la bienvenida a Xi.
La reunión del APEC, cuyo lema es "Construir un mañana sostenible", está centrada en tres pilares: conectar, innovar y prosperar. Ésta es la primera visita de Estado de Xi a la República de Corea en 11 años.
