Deretan Tragedi Tragis Kapal Laut di Indonesia | FLASHBACK SPESIAL
Berbagai tragedi kecelakaan kapal laut telah menjadi catatan kelam dalam sejarah pelayaran di tanah air. Salah satu yang paling tragis adalah tenggelamnya KM Tampomas II pada tahun 1981 di Masalembo, Sumenep, Jawa Timur. Kebakaran hebat yang terjadi di kapal tersebut menyebabkan lebih dari 500 orang meninggal dunia. Selain itu, tenggelamnya KM Senopati Nusantara pada tahun 2006 yang menewaskan lebih dari 400 orang juga menjadi bukti betapa besar risiko yang ada dalam transportasi laut Indonesia.Tragedi lainnya adalah tenggelamnya KM Sinar Bangun di Danau Toba pada 2018, yang merenggut sekitar 164 nyawa akibat kelebihan muatan dan kondisi kapal yang buruk. Pada tahun yang sama, KM Lestari Maju karam di perairan Sulawesi Selatan dengan puluhan penumpang meninggal dunia.
Insiden-insiden tersebut tidak hanya menjadi tragedi kemanusiaan, tetapi juga mengingatkan akan pentingnya standar keselamatan dan pengawasan ketat terhadap kapal-kapal yang beroperasi di Indonesia. Keselamatan transportasi laut harus menjadi prioritas utama agar tragedi serupa tidak terus berulang dan nyawa masyarakat dapat terlindungi dengan baik.
