Pencarian Berakhir! Seluruh Pekerja Korban Longsor Tambang Freeport Ditemukan, Total 7 Orang
MIMIKA, KOMPAS.TV Tim tanggap darurat PT Freeport Indonesia menemukan seluruh korban longsor tambang bawah tanah Blok Cave, di Tembagapura, Kabupaten Mimika, Papua Tengah. Total korban yang ditemukan sebanyak tujuh orang.Lima korban pekerja Freeport kembali ditemukan dalam kondisi meninggal dunia. Ketiganya ditemukan pada Minggu lalu, sementara dua lainnya ditemukan pada Senin (6/10/2025) dini hari.
Dengan demikian, total korban longsor tambang bawah tanah menjadi tujuh orang. Dua jenazah sebelumnya telah dipulangkan dan dimakamkan oleh keluarga.
Wakapolres Mimika, Kompol Junan Plitumo, mengungkapkan seluruh jenazah kini dalam proses evakuasi menuju Kota Timika dari Tembagapura.
