LIVE: IndiGo Cancels More Than 250 Flights From Delhi, Bengaluru as Disruptions Enter Day Seven
IndiGo’s nationwide flight disruption has entered its seventh day, with over 400 cancellations today and more than 2,000 since last week, heavily impacting Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Delhi Airport issued an advisory urging passengers to check real-time updates as cancellations continued to mount. The disruptions stem from new FDTL rest rules, crew shortages, weather changes, festive travel rush and technical issues. Despite this, IndiGo says 95% of its network has been restored and expects stability by December 10. The Aviation Ministry has ordered refunds, faster baggage clearance and support cells, while the DGCA has issued a show-cause notice and granted IndiGo’s CEO a short extension to respond.---
