Ia menyebut jeda saat ini hanya sebagai 'penghentian sementara' untuk beberapa serangan udara.
Ia bersikeras tentara Israel tetap dapat melanjutkan operasi di wilayah tersebut untuk 'tujuan defensif'.
Juru bicara itu mengonfirmasi negosiator Israel akan memulai perundingan tak langsung dengan Hamas yang dijadwalkan pada hari Senin (6/10/2025), di Sharm el-Sheikh.
Perundingan tersebut akan dimediasi oleh Amerika Serikat (AS), Mesir, dan Qatar.
Diperkirakan perundungan tersebut akan berfokus pada pertukaran tahanan setelah Hamas mengisyaratkan penerimaan proposal Presiden AS Donald Trump.
Gerakan itu menyatakan kesediaan untuk merundingkan fase pertama kesepakatan, yang akan membebaskan semua tahanan Israel, baik yang hidup maupun yang telah meninggal.
Dengan imbalan 250 warga Palestina yang menjalani hukuman seumur hidup dan 1.700 lainnya yang ditahan di Gaza selama perang, yang tidak terkait dengan serangan 7 Oktober.
Sementara itu, pasukan Israel telah menangkap 15 warga Palestina dalam penggerebekan besar-besaran di kota el-Bireh dan kamp pengungsi Jalazone, yang terletak di utara Ramallah, menurut kantor berita Wafa.
Israel juga memperketat tindakan militer di sekitar Ramallah dan el-Bireh dengan mendirikan pos pemeriksaan dan menyebabkan kemacetan lalu lintas yang parah.
Kejadian serupa dilaporkan terjadi di kamp pengungsi Qalandiya di mana pasukan Israel memblokir jalan dan menembakkan gas air mata.
