TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Pemerintah Kota Jambi terus bergerak cepat menangani persoalan banjir yang selama ini menjadi momok warga, terutama saat musim hujan tiba.
Wali Kota Jambi, Dr. Maulana, turun langsung meninjau sejumlah titik rawan banjir dan memimpin percepatan pembangunan sistem drainase serta normalisasi sungai di berbagai lokasi.
Salah satu titik utama yang menjadi fokus adalah kawasan Perumahan Savira, Kelurahan Pasir Putih, Kecamatan Jambi Selatan.
Di wilayah ini, dilakukan normalisasi saluran sepanjang 62 meter dengan lebar 4,5 meter.
Pemerintah juga memasang box culvert untuk mengatasi penyempitan aliran atau bottleneck di kawasan tersebut. (*)
