Nepal Flash Floods: At Least 100 Indian Tourists Among Hundreds Missing | Vantage on Firstpost
Deadly flash floods have devastated Nepal’s Rasuwa and Dhading districts, killing at least 90 people and leaving more than 400 tourists and pilgrims unaccounted for, including over 100 Indians. The Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers surged through villages, roads and bridges, while rescue teams have been mobilised across the affected areas. India is sending emergency relief supplies and remains on alert as increased water flow could affect the Gandak River in Bihar. Authorities are also investigating whether an ice avalanche or glacial event may have contributed to the disaster, amid growing concerns over rapidly melting Himalayan glaciers.---
