La colonna di fumo che si alza dal Monte Faeta all’altezza di San Pantaleone, nel tratto dei Monti Pisani sopra Santa Maria del Giudice, frazione di Lucca confinante con San Giuliano Terme, è talmente densa e alta da oscurare il cielo.
