A quarantasei anni dalla tragedia di Ustica, il dibattito resta acceso. Secondo il generale Leonardo Tricarico, già Capo di Stato Maggiore dell'Aeronautica Militare, il principale ostacolo alla piena ricostruzione della vicenda non sarebbe soltanto giudiziario, ma soprattutto politico.
"Una parte politica ben identificata ha contribuito a sostenere una ricostruzione mistificata e falsa, continuando ad alimentare l'ipotesi del missile o del coinvolgimento di Stati stranieri, nonostante il processo penale abbia escluso quella dinamica. Questo ha impedito di fare piena chiarezza su una tragedia nella quale morirono 81 persone".
Nel corso dell'intervista, Tricarico ha citato alcuni esponenti politici, indicando tra questi l'ex presidente del Consiglio Romano #Prodi.
