JAMBI, KOMPAS.TV - Tingginya intensitas hujan yang menguyur Kota Jambi membuat sebagian wilayah terendam banjir, termasuk di Kelurahan Suka Karya, Kecamatan Kota Baru, Kota Jambi. Ketinggian banjir mencapai 1 meter lebih.Banjir di sebagian titik Kota Jambi terjadi akibat luapan Sungai Kenali Asam yang tidak kuat menampung air.
Banjir turut merendam permukiman warga, sekolah hingga tempat ibadah.
Selama Februari 2025, banjir sudah terjadi sebanyak lima kali. Akibatnya, proses belajar mengajar serta aktivitas warga terganggu.
Warga diminta waspada, sementara warga terdampak diimbau untuk mengungsi ke tempat yang lebih aman.
