We are learning more as oil prices rose sharply when market trading began Sunday. According to FactSet, a barrel of Brent crude was trading at around $79 per barrel, up about 8% from $72.87 from Friday. Traders were betting the supply of oil from Iran and elsewhere in the region could slow or grind to a halt. The prospect of oil supply disruptions from Iran and other regional sources led traders to speculate on a potential slowdown of production.We have also heard that the president of Iran’s soccer federation says he does not know if the national team can play World Cup matches in the United States. "What is certain is that after this attack, we cannot be expected to look forward to the World Cup with hope," Mehdi Taj told sports portal Varzesh3.
