Organizational bureaucracy is. The security checks, compliance frameworks and scale validation that sit between a working product and an enterprise deployment are what he calls the last mile, and it is where Deeptech companies most often run out of steam. GCCs, embedded in the customer journey, are built to close that distance.
On where India should place its strategic bets, his answer is talent. Capital and research attract attention because they are photogenic. Building engineers who can govern agentic systems and apply human judgment at scale is the underserved layer, and he argues GCCs are among the strongest sources of that capability.
