Imbauan disampaikan mengantisipasi potensi otoritas keimigrasian AS lebih mengetatkan pemeriksaan dokumen kepada penumpang yang baru tiba di bandara AS, Senin (9/6/2025).
Potensi ini lantaran adanya aksi demonstrasi besar-besaran untuk menolak kebijakan imigrasi Presiden AS, Donald Trump.
Aksi demo itu dimulai Jumat (6/6/2025) berujung rusuh pada Minggu (8/6/2025) setelah adanya penggerebekan terkoordinasi di sejumlah wilayah oleh otoritas Departemen Keamanan dalam Negeri AS.
