Hal ini terkait diugaan aliran dana dari pemerintah untuk produksi film tersebut.
Toto Soegriwo memberikan klarifikasi melalui unggahan di akun sosial medianya pada Senin (11/8).
Dalam klarifikasinya, Toto membantah keras bahwa proyek film animasinya menerima bantuan dana sebesar RP6,7 miliar dari pemerintah.
Ia menyebut tuduhan semacam isu merupakan fitnah keji.
Toto menegaskan bahwa ia dan tim produksi tidak pernah menerima satu rupiah pun dana dari pemerintah.
Ia membantah tudingan korupsi yang belakangan santer terdengar terkait film Merah Putih One For All.
Menurutnya dampak tudingan itu tak hanya menyerang pribadinya, tapi juga keluarganya.
Bahkan istri dan anak-anaknya kini mengalami tekanan mental akibat hijatan yang beredar di media sosial.
Lebih lanjut, Toto Soegriwo menejelaskan peran dari Wakil Menteri Ekonomi Kreatif, Irene Umar.
Ia mengonfirmasi bahwa saat audiensi film, Irene Umar memang memberikan masukan kreatif, namun tidak ada bantuan finansial.
