Welcome to the Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan, is a chaotic comedy that revolves around a fraudulent film production created to help a billionaire evade taxes, only for the fake movie's crew to stumble into real danger. Despite a premise with strong satirical potential to spoof the current state of Bollywood, the film squanders the opportunity with a disjointed screenplay, outdated humor, and an endless string of forced gags that rarely land. Filled with continuity issues, unnecessary songs, weak slapstick, and jokes built around stereotypes, the film feels more like a collection of random sketches than a coherent narrative. Akshay Kumar tries to inject energy into the proceedings, while veterans like Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav are left with little meaningful material despite the massive ensemble cast. Ultimately, Welcome to the Jungle ends up as an exhausting and creatively bankrupt comedy that mistakes loudness, nostalgia, and star power for genuine entertainment.
