Pelaku Mutilasi Koper Merah Divonis Penjara Seumur Hidup, Jaksa akan Ajukan Banding | BORGOL
KEDIRI, KOMPAS.TV - Terdakwa pembunuhan mutilasi perempuan dalam koper merah dituntut hukuman penjara seumur hidup oleh Pengadilan Negeri Kota Kediri. Vonis tersebut lebih ringan dengan tuntutan vonis mati dari jaksa penuntut umum.Terdakwa Rohmad Tri Hartanto menjalani sidang putusan kasus mutilasi perempuan dalam koper merah di Pengadilan Negeri Kota Kediri pada Selasa (9/9/2025).
Majelis hakim menjatuhkan vonis kepada pelaku dengan hukuman penjara seumur hidup. Hukuman itu diberikan setelah terdakwa terbukti melakukan pembunuhan berencana.
Sementara itu, usai sidang, jaksa penuntut umum akan melakukan banding agar hukuman yang diberikan sesuai tuntutannya yakni hukuman mati.
Sebelumnya, terdakwa melakukan pembunuhan kepada seorang perempuan warga Blitar di sebuah hotel di Kota Kediri, Januari 2025 lalu.
Pembunuhan berencana itu dilatarbelakangi sakit hati dan cemburu terdakwa terhadap korban.
Terdakwa membunuh dengan cara memutilasi korban, lalu membuangnya di sejumlah daerah, seperti Ngawi, Trenggalek dan Ponorogo.
