Gli iracheni non osavano uscire di casa - e avevano ragione: stava per cominciare un periodo di sangue e anarchia che dura ancora oggi.
Vent'anni dopo, niente è cambiato nel modo in cui l'Occidente guarda al Medio Oriente. Si ripete lo stesso schema: si abbatte un regime, si immagina un popolo pronto ad abbracciare i nostri valori, e poi ci si stupisce del caos che segue.
