Larangan itu diberlakukan, setelah Kejagung memeriksa Nadiem soal kasus dugaan korupsi selama 12 jam, Senin (23/6/2025) kemarin.
Akibatnya, ia dilarang bepergian sejak 19 Juni 2025 hingga enam bulan ke depan.
Diketahui bahwa Nadiem sendiri diperiksa sebagai saksi dalam kasus dugaan korupsi pengadaan laptop, pada Program Digitalisasi Pendidikan di Kemendikbud Ristek 2019-2022, senilai Rp9,9 triliun.
Langkah pencekalan yang dilakukan Kejagung ini disebut bertujuan agar proses penyidikan bisa berjalan dengan lancar.
Meskipun disini Nadiem diperiksa sebagai saksi, namun tak sedikit publik yang terkejut akan kabar tersebut.
Pasalnya Mantan Menteri Pendidikan itu dikenal sebagai sosok yang membanggakan sebelumnya.
Ia merupakan seorang perintis aplikasi layanan transportasi online, Gojek, yang sudah dikenal dan terbukti bermanfaat bagi orang banyak.
Tak sedikit publik yang kemudian memantau sejauh mana kasus ini berlanjut untuk mengetahui apakah Nadiem benar terlibat dalam kasus ini.
