Kasus tabrak lari pasangan lansia pedagang anyaman bambu di Ponorogo ini menyita perhatian masyarakat.
Pasalnya, video ketika pasangan bernama Suwondo (67) dan Tukijah (88) tengah bergandengan tangan berjalan kaki menjajakan dagangannya itu beredar viral di media sosial.
Dalam video yang beredar, Tukijah menggandeng lengan Suwondo sambil menggendong bakul bambu di punggungnya.
Sementara, Tukijah berjalan di sisi kanan dengan salah satu tangannya membawa ayakan bambu.
Belakangan, diketahui bahwa Suwondo tidak bisa melihat.
Kisah mereka pun lantas disebut sebagai "Romeo dan Juliet" dari Ponorogo.
Kini, Suwondo dan Tukijah telah berpulang karena menjadi korban tabrak lari yang terjadi di Jalan Raya Jabung-Mlarak, Dukuh Gontor II, Desa Gontor, Kecamatan Mlarak, Kabupaten Ponorogo, Kamis (19/5/2025) pukul 05.30 WIB.
