Deutscher Wetterdienst: Heftige Unwetter in Süddeutschland

Für den Tagesverlauf hat der Deutsche Wetterdienst in Offenbach vom südlichen Baden-Württemberg bis nach Niederbayern und Oberfranken schwere Gewitter mit hoher Unwettergefahr vorausgesagt.
Möglich sind demnach Hagel bis 5 Zentimeter, Sturm- und schwere Sturmböen bis 100 km/h und Starkregen mit bis zu 40 Liter pro Quadratmeter in kurzer Zeit und heftige Gewitter.
Etwas weniger schwere Gewitter sind laut der Prognose außerdem von Rheinland-Pfalz und dem Saarland über Hessen und Thüringen hinweg bis nach Sachsen-Anhalt, Nordsachsen, Brandenburg und Berlin möglich. Auch hier kann es Sturmböen, Starkregen und kleinkörnigen Hagel geben.
