South Africa: Ramaphosa Finally Invites Ukraine's Zelensky | Firstpost Africa | N18GAs the Russia-Ukraine war enters its fourth year, South Africa has agreed to host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky who has been keen on visiting the nation for quite some time. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa spoke with Zelensky over a call after which he posted that he is inviting him for a state visit. However, he did not reveal any date. During their conversation, both leaders agreed on the urgent need for an inclusive peace process in Ukraine. While Zelensky thanked Ramaphosa for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Ramaphosa and Zelensky have had regular conversations since the Ukraine war started exactly three years ago.
